100% Recycled

Paper made with 100% recycled paper. This is post-consumer recycled fiber that has been reclaimed from products after they have been used for their intended purpose. will be in the mail within 24-48 hours.

Carbon Balanced

100% of the carbon impact of manufacturing the paper used by Sustainable Mail is balanced through the Carbon Balanced Paper program operated in cooperation with the World Land Trust. Choosing Carbon Balanced Paper will reduce your carbon impact, protect endangered species and enhance your brand. The World Land Trust Carbon Balanced Paper logo can be proudly featured on your printed products to demonstrate and communicate your commitment to reduce your carbon impact.

BioGas Energy

The paper used by Sustainable Mail is manufactured by a paper mill powered 93% by Biogas energy. Methane generated by the decomposition of organic waste in a local landfill is captured, purified, compressed, and then used by the paper mill. This makes this paper 62% less impactful to the climate than similar north American papers., and then used by the paper mill. Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) Certified

Forest Stewardship Council Certification supports responsible use of forest resources across all paper manufacturing steps, which means our paper products can be tracked back to an FSC-certified source.

Ancient Forest Friendly Certified

The paper used by Sustainable Mail is certified by the paper mill as Ancient Forest Friendly™ . The Ancient Forest Friendly™ designation is one of the most rigorous paper labels available. Ancient Forest Friendly™ paper is free of ancient or endangered forest fiber, made with 100% recycled fiber, and whitened without chlorine.

Landa Nanoink® is friendly in the recycling stream
Less ink needed for printing means less ink to remove in recycling process.
Deinking tests have shown that Nanoink® is successfully removed in the recycling process.
The final brightness of paper recycled from Landa Nanoink® prints is brighter than most other recycled paper.

We’ve measured our carbon footprint and are working to reduce it. For carbon that we can’t immediately eliminate, we’ll offset via the conservation efforts of the World Land Trust. Hudson Printing is the first printer in North America’s to achieve the “Carbon Balanced Printer” certification by the World Land Trust. Printing with Hudson Printing or Sustainable Mail helps protect the most ecologically valuable land around the world.

We believe that supporting the World Land Trust is the most impactful way to balance carbon emissions.

Sustainable Mail is powered by Hudson Printing. Hudson is a leading print provider and has an internal sustainability initiative called LOOP. LOOP initiatives include:
Carbon Balanced Printer certification (in progress) with the World Land Trust.
